Hello, it's so nice to meet you! I’m Anne Williams-—mental health therapist, ecotherapist, writer, sun-goddess at heart, inviter of warmth and light, minimalist, meditator, Aunt Anne to two amazing nephews and three phenomenal nieces, fur-baby spoiler, plant food and tea lover. I’m a white, cis, middle-class woman. I acknowledge the unearned privilege these aspects of my identity afford me and work to use my privilege for good. My pronouns are she/her.

Through my own liberatory journey, I’ve learned that transformation happens in our everyday practices, just as sun shows up each morning to transform darkness into light.

I believe in building on our strengths, sharing tools to help improve coping, poetry, music, meditation, nature, interdependent relationships, as medicine for the many challenges we face in life today and I weave all of this into the therapy I provide.
You’ll find my work includes deep listening, tenderness, truth, justice, wisdom and anti-oppression frameworks, as well as a very warm and laid back style. I specialize in helping adults recover and move forward from depression, anxiety, trauma, unhealthy relationship with food, and body image issues.

My work as a therapist includes a philosophy of walking beside my clients, believing they are the experts on themselves, as well as emotional decolonization and collective healing work, based on Dr. Jennifer Mullan’s work in Decolonizing Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona and am able to accept insurance for clients in Arizona as a way to increase accessibility. I utilize therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-focused Therapy, and Intuitive Eating, to help guide clients on their journey toward wellness and wholeness.
