Marie is a dedicated and clinically sound Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. With extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Marie tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive the best treatment possible for healing and personal growth.

She has a special focus on helping couples and families navigate communication challenges, rebuild trust, and strengthen their emotional bonds. Marie has done in-depth work with military personnel, both active-duty and veterans, as well as first responders and medical professionals. She understands the unique stresses these populations face, including trauma, burnout, and emotional tolls from their work. Her expertise in supporting individuals in high-stress professions allows her to offer specialized care, helping clients process their experiences and develop coping strategies for their challenges.

A lifelong nature lover, Marie believes in the healing power of the natural world and often integrates mindfulness practices into her work. She encourages her clients to connect with nature and use mindfulness to support both emotional and physical well-being.

Before becoming a licensed professional, Marie served in the Active Duty Army and the Army and Navy Reserves. Her time in these roles, as well as her experience in blue-collar fields, has provided her with valuable perspectives and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by working-class individuals. This background allows her to relate to clients from all walks of life and offer genuine empathy and support.
