GAIL BROWN, LMSW
(12 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)
Therapist (Virtual Only)
I specialize in providing therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families, with a particular focus on working with clients who have experienced extensive trauma. My experience includes in-depth work with adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Additionally, I have specialized expertise in working with eating disorder clients, having honed my skills at The Meadows, a renowned treatment center for eating disorders and trauma.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep commitment to helping individuals overcome significant challenges and barriers to happiness and a fulfilling life. I work closely with clients to identify the root causes of their struggles and empower them to work through these obstacles. Whether addressing personal trauma, relationship issues, or mental health concerns, my approach is both compassionate and solution-focused.
I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness techniques. I am also trained in a variety of other evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Structural Therapy, and Family Therapy. These approaches allow me to tailor my treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering an environment where clients can heal and grow.
While I am currently offering virtual therapy services, I remain fully dedicated to helping those I serve, always striving to positively impact their lives. I look forward to working with you, helping you navigate your challenges, and supporting you in reaching your personal goals for growth and well-being.
