What is EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free benefit your employer offers that gives you a set number of confidential counseling sessions at no cost to you. There's no insurance claim and nothing out of pocket. It's a simple way to get support for stress, anxiety, relationships, grief, or whatever you're working through. Lyra is one of the largest EAP providers, and Bridge Consulting Services is in network, so you can use your sessions with us right away.

Does Bridge Consulting Services accept Lyra EAP?
Yes. We are an in-network ComPsych provider. Once you have your authorization code from Lyra, we handle the rest and confirm your covered sessions before your first appointment.
How many free counseling sessions do I get?
It depends on your employer's plan. Most ComPsych EAPs cover a set number of sessions per issue, often somewhere between three and eight, at no cost to you. Lyra confirms your exact number when they issue your authorization code.
Is EAP counseling really confidential from my employer?
Yes. Your employer pays for the benefit but does not receive your records or know whether you used it or what you discussed. Your sessions are protected by the same privacy laws as any other therapy.
What happens if I need more than my EAP allows?
Many people do, and that's normal. As you near the end of your covered sessions, we'll talk through your options for continuing care, including using insurance benefits or other arrangements, so your progress isn't interrupted.
